• ____Rain Gear - We don't fish if there is lightning, but a little rain sometimes makes for great fishing
• ____Sunscreen
• ____Sunglasses
• ____Soft soled shoes with light colored soles such as tennis or boat shoes if possible
• ____Clothes for warm & cold weather. We suggest layers as it can start chilly and end up hot
• ____Camera and/or video camera
• ____Motion Sickness Medicine - We strongly recommend the brand BONINE available at most drug stores
• ____Food & Beverages of your choice - NO GLASS PLEASE. If desired we can arrange to have it waiting for you - ask us for details
• ____Large Cooler For Taking Fillets Home. Very large cooler if you want whole dressed fish for smoking

Preparing For Your Trip:

• ____Mail $200 deposit for each fishing day. Write fishing dates on the check/money order. Bookings ARE NOT final until deposit is recieved
• ____Secure your lodging arrangements ASAP. Pentwater lodging is heavily booked between Memorial Day & Labor Day
• ____Make sure you have Annual Michigan All Species Fishing License, 72 Hour or 1-Day License. Everyone 16 or older MUST have a license
• ____Email me your local contact phone number or a cell phone number so I can contact you the night before in case of weather issues
• ____Call my Cell phone 616-780-7722 the day before your trip to confirm departure time & check weather
• ____Review the checklist above to make sure you bring what you need
• ____If you want us to have liquid refreshments or lunch prepared for you call & confirm your choices several days in advance of your trip
• ____If you are coming to Pentwater just to fish with us, PLEASE call us at 616-780-7722 before you leave for a weather check! We might save you a wasted trip if the weather is such that we know we will have to reschedule!
